Robby Williams - Featured Athlete of the Month
August 15th, 2008
Name: Robby Williams
Age: 17 (November 20th, 1990)
Hometown: Thousand Oaks, CA
When you started skating: 7-9 years ago, I try not to keep track
Sponsors: None
Stance: Goofy
Favorite Tricks: long nose manuals (no flips in or out, just holding it for a long time), BS 360 ollies, 360 flips, double heelflips and no handed 5050’s (truckstand [I like to occasionally try freestyle])
Extra stuff: I don’t have any sponsors so if anybody wants to hook me up I’m filming a new full part with some stuff I bet you’ve never seen so contact me and I’ll be sure to give you a link to my new video that I’m filming. I don’t want to sound cocky, but be prepared to have to rewind the vid and think “did he just do that?” haha, that sounds SOOO arrogant but its only because I’m trying to do alot of techy stuff (and no, not flat).
Also, I figured I’d tell people that I love to skate (obviously) I’ve been skating a LONG time and I don’t think there’s one thing I’d rather do instead, it’s basically my life! I got into skating probably because of the first Tony Hawk game, after that being that age, you want to try it! So all of my friends and I got boards for Christmas or something Birthdays or whatever and we all started skating. All of my friends and I would practice ollies, I remember once me and one friend learned to ollie 2 inches (if that) we were like, okay, now ROLLING ollies!!!!! haha. Everyone sort of faded out of skating but I just stuck with it and every year or two my friends try to get back into it and I have a huge lead because I can kickflip, haha. Basically I love skating and don’t know what I’d do without it.
